New York is building a giant fir tree at Rockefeller Center

The Christmas tree has arrived at Rockefeller Center.

The natural fir, 22.5 meters taken from a mountain area in Norway, was brought from Massachusetts and placed in Manhattan.

Eight kilometers of lights with over 50,000 colorful LED lamps will decorate the fir tree.

The star will be with about 3 million Swarovski crystals.

The lights will be turned on as per tradition, on December 4.
