SkyShowtime today confirmed the release date of new series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies. Produced by Paramount Television Studios, the upcoming musical series will premiere on SkyShowtime on Friday 7 April, with new episodes of the 10-episode season airing every Friday.
The musical series takes place four years before the original Grease; in 1954, before rock 'n' roll reigned, before the T-Birds were the cutest in school, four bored outcasts dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.

The series is performed by Mariza Davila in the role of Jane and Cheyenne Isabel Wells in the role of Olivia, Ari Notartomazo in the role of Sithnia, Trisha Fukuhara in the role of Nancy, Shanel Bailey in the role of Hazel, Madison Thompson in the role of Suzana, Jonathan Nives in the role of Rich, Jason Shmit in the role of Bud, Maxwell Whiting in the role of Wolli and Jackie Hoffman in the role of Asti, director McGee.
