The Minister of the Interior, Xhelal Sveçla, has given details of the action of the Kosovo Police inside the monastery of Banjska. He informed that 3 assassins were killed, 6 were arrested, of which 2 were injured.
He added that the Kosovo Police discovered an extraordinary amount of heavy weapons, explosives, uniforms, logistics, food, equipment for barricades, implying that it was a well-organized plan for the attack on official Pristina.
Also, the Kosovo Police has escorted 49 pilgrims to the police station south of Mitrovica, to verify and test them for paraffin.
"I express my sincere and deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Afrim and the citizens of Kosovo. After that, the response of the Kosovo police was immediate and professional, for a short time they put the entire territory under control. In this case, we have 6 arrested, 2 of them injured.
As well as at least 3 attackers killed.
