New anticovid measures / To enter Kosovo you must have a vaccination

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tirana announces the new rules for all persons who want to travel to Kosovo. These rules stipulate that every person must have a full vaccination certificate or at least one dose.

-Every person who enters the Republic of Kosovo must possess one of the following evidence:

-Certificate of complete vaccination (two doses) against COVID-19;

-Vaccination certificate for single dose vaccination, not older than 4 weeks, together with negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19, not older than 48 hours;

-Vaccination certificate for single dose vaccination together with proof that the person has passed COVID-19 (positive RT-PCR test issued not less than 21 days and not more than 180 days).

From January 3, 2022, will be allowed to enter Kosovo only those persons who are provided with a certificate of full vaccination (two doses).

Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as persons with temporary or permanent residence permits in Kosovo, who do not possess any of the above mentioned evidence and seek to enter the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, are given the opportunity to be vaccinated by mobile teams. located at the ANP border crossing point Adem Jashari (for those entering by air), and at the border crossing points in Vërmicë, Merdare, Dheu i Bardhë, Hani i Elezit (for those entering by land).

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces the new measures imposed by the Republic of Kosovo on the entry and exit of citizens.

Every person entering the Republic of Kosovo must possess one of the following evidence:

Certificate of complete (two-dose) vaccination against COVID-19;

Vaccination certificate for single dose vaccination, not older than 4 weeks, together with negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19, not older than 48 hours;

Vaccination certificate for single dose vaccination together with proof that the person has passed COVID-19 (RT-PCR positive test issued not less than 21 days and not more than 180 days).

Shtetasve të Republikës së Kosovës, si dhe personave me leje qëndrimi të përkohshëm ose të përhershëm në Kosovë, të cilët nuk posedojnë ndonjë nga dëshmitë e përmendura më lart dhe kërkojnë të hyjnë në territorin e Republikës së Kosovës, iu jepet mundësia të vaksinohen nga ekipet mobile të vendosura në pikën kufitare ANP “Adem Jashari (për ata që hyjnë në rrugë ajrore), dhe në pikat kufitare në Vërmicë, Merdare, Dheu i Bardhë, Hani i Elezit (për ata që hyjnë në rrugë tokësore).

Nga kërkesa për të poseduar ndonjërën nga dëshmitë e shënuara më lart, përjashtohen:

-Personat të cilët hyjnë në Kosovë përmes aeroportit apo përmes pikave kufitare tokësore dhe largohen nga Kosova brenda tre 3 orësh përmes aeroportit ose pikave kufitare tokësore, me kusht që në hyrje të nënshkruaj deklaratën se do ta lëshojë Kosovën brenda tre 3 orësh;

-Persons who work as professional transporters (drivers), provided that they comply with the protocol for international transport for protection against COVID-19;

-Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who have left Kosovo in the last 12 hours;

-Foreign citizens, who pass through Kosovo through organized transport by bus or regular international line, transit, provided that the declaration is signed that they will leave the territory of Kosovo within 5 hours;

-Foreign diplomats, accredited in Kosovo;

-Persons under the age of 12;

-Persons with medical evidence who have scientifically proven contraindications for non-vaccination. Such persons must submit a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19, not older than 48 hours.
