Independence Day / Citizens from Kosovo come to celebrate
Kosovo Albanians have headed to Albania since the early hours of the morning, to be part of the Independence Day celebrations.
They passed with an accelerated procedure at the Morina customs, a day after the meeting of the two governments where they announced in Elbasan, the facilitation of the border crossing for the November holidays. Citizens say that the border procedure took very little to three minutes and that there is no need for borders between the two countries.
Morini Border Police has taken measures not to create unnecessary queues at the border by facilitating the passage of Kosovo citizens to Albania. As far as anti-covid measures are concerned, they remain in force, where citizens must present either the vaccination passport, the negative test that has been performed in the last 72 hours, or evidence that they have passed Covid in the last 6 months.
