The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has been declared an anti-corruption champion by the US Department of State.
The assessment was made today at the State Department by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Blinken said Dumani leads a new structure, while hitting high-ranking politicians and criminal groups.
"Altin Dumani, from Albania, heads a new agency (SPAK). He has hit high-ranking politicians, but also important criminal groups, doing extraordinary work in one of the most trusted institutions in Albania," Blinken declared.
