When asked by Men's Health to share his 'most important' tip, 53-year-old Paul Rudd said 'eight hours of sleep' tops the list.
'Then the diet. Weights. Then cardio," the Clueless star listed.
"People ask me, 'Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs?'" Rudd said.
Although he is committed to daily cardio and a minimum of three days of weight lifting, Rudd believes that 'the most important part of training is sleep.
“People will set their alarm and then sleep for four hours and get up so they can train. They are doing themselves a disservice," he said.
Rudd revealed that he starts the day with a coffee and then straight to the gym.
Rudd's diet is simple and consistent. He told Men's Health that he eats eggs every day, includes salmon in most meals and likes his protein with a mix of protein powder and water.
