This is a photo of Sophia Loren, shot last night in Rome as she received the David di Donatello Award for Best Actress.

Loren was praised for her starring role as Madame Rosa in "La Vita Davanti a Sé" directed by her son Edoardo Ponti.

"The emotion is the same as the first David I got, 60 years ago. Maybe today I have even more emotions. I do not know if this will be my last film, but I want to do more, to be in more beautiful films. "I can never live without cinema," said the affected Sophia Loren.

Loren in the film plays a former prostitute and Holocaust survivor who helps a 12-year-old immigrant from Senegal.
