The Rodolfo of 'La Boheme' for Londoners is Saimir Pirgu

Rodolfo of La Boheme, a role tailor-made for Saimir Pirgu.

Puccini's famous work, perhaps the most famous, is being staged in London, by director Richard Jones, from January 24.

The protagonist on the Royal Albert stage is the Albanian tenor. And Mimi is played by Ruzan Mantashyan.

The opera of passion, friendship and heartbreak will be played for two weeks.

The London critics have praised Pirgu as a brilliant Rodolfo, with a vocal full of power and passion, creating in the audience in the hall the vivid experiences of the young Frenchman who struggles between the pain of losing his girlfriend Mimi and the inability to help her. This is the most performed work ever at the Royal Albert, but among all the artists who have performed it earlier, the undisputed Rodolfo of the Londoners is Saimir Pirgu.
