The last Friday and Saturday brought a 'Winter Trip' to Tirana, before winter came yet. It was "Winterreise", a TKOB play staged from another time.
The show was staged by Angelin Preljocaj, a famous choreographer in France, but of Albanian origin.
Winterreise is a song cycle for canto and piano by Franz Schubert, published in 1828. A collection of 24 poems by the German poet Müll Wilhelm.
Its dramatic and choreographic basis is the idea of a long suicide act in slow motion.
And if you missed the Winter Journey, you have another chance to enjoy Angelin Preljocaj's elite art.
On November 3-4, you can watch "Ghost" choreographed by Angelin Preljocaj, Eno Peci and Gentian Doda with a troupe from the Opera and Ballet Theatre, at TKOB.
