The Stones of Solitude by Tom Cook is also translated into German
"Stones of loneliness" by the author Tom Kuka (pseudonym used by the journalist Enkel Demi) has already been published in German.
The news was announced by the journalist Enkel Demi himself through a post on Facebook.
"I just received the news that "Stones of loneliness" has been published in German thanks to the cooperation of the publishing house "Schenk Verlag" and the publishing house "Pegi" (Pegi Publications). I am very grateful to my publishers in Albania and Germany, while I would like to thank the translator Zuzana Finger from the bottom of my heart for the excellent, extraordinary and persistent work she has done with this book", writes the journalist.
The book is an epic story about what happened a century ago in the province of Chameria. In a place somewhere between the borders, a handful of people try to build their lives and future, in the place where they had their roots, under the shadow of the past, being protected from the treachery of the enemy.
The novel is an interweaving of past, present and future, a warning that something more serious may happen.
