Produced by Paramount Television Studios, Grease: The Origins of The Pink Ladies will air on SkyShowtime this Spring.
The event in this musical series takes place in 1954; four years before the original Grease, before rock 'n' roll took over, before the T-Birds were the coolest in school. Four students, bored and disgusted by the situation at their high school, dare to have fun on their own terms, breaking all moral taboos and bringing change to Rydell High.
In addition to Marisa Davila as Jane and Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, the cast includes Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy, Shanel Bailey as Hazel, Madison Thompson as Susan, Johnathan Nieves as Richie, Jason Schmidt as Buddy, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as Wally and Jackie Hoffman as Vice Principal McGee.
Written and produced by executive producer Annabel Oakes (Atypical, Transparent), who also serves as showrunner and director. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are executive producers of Temple Hill, Adam Fishbach is also an executive producer and Alethea Jones (Born to Love, Doll Face Devil) directed the script and two more episodes. Erik Feig and Samie Kim Falvey are executive producers through PICTURESTART produced by Grace Gilroy. Choreography by Jamal Sims, as well as Grammy-nominated executive producer Justin Trante.
