Berlin is encouraging young people to return to the city by giving them €50 to enjoy cultural sites and events.

The initiative starts this month and encourages young people from Berlin between the ages of 18 and 23 to register for a youth culture card.

Those who qualify can register for the card online and pick up their cards at public libraries by the end of February. The card will also be available to non-German residents in the city.

The €50 voucher is valid until April 30 and can be spent at 200 venues across the city, including theaters and nightclubs.
