Zuckerberg: Biden administration pressured us to censor news about Covid-19

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, said on Tuesday that US President Joe Biden's administration pressured his company to "censor" specific content about COVID-19 during the pandemic.
“In 2021, senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor some content about COVID-19, including humor and satire, and expressed considerable frustration with our teams when they didn't," Zuckerberg declared.
He said they made the final decision to remove the content and take responsibility for the changes to the COVID-19 policies under pressure.
“My goal is to be neutral and not play a role one way or the other or even look like I'm playing a role. So I don't plan to make a similar contribution this cycle," Zuckerberg said.
