The murder of the 33-year-old woman in Prishtina was allegedly ordered by her husband
The Kosovo police have clarified the details of the serious incident that happened on Wednesday evening in Pristina, where 33-year-old Liridona Murseli was killed.
The incident was initially reported as a robbery. The authorities in Pristina announced that the wife of the former councilor of Behgjet Pacolli, Naim Murseli, took a bullet that left her dead on the spot when the family confronted the robbers in the village of Sinidoll.
In his statement to the investigators, the victim's husband confessed that he was with his wife and children in the car, when he was suddenly ambushed by two armed robbers.
Today, the Police have announced that they have arrested two suspects who are related to the murder.
The media in Kosovo are reporting that one of the arrested is the husband of the 33-year-old deceased. The other suspect allegedly admitted to the prosecutor of the case that it was Murseli who paid him to commit the murder.
