The distribution of textbooks is expected to begin at the end of August. In order to take measures for the start of the school year, the Minister of Education Ogerta Manastirliu met the inspectors of the educational offices, representatives of the National Agency of Pre-University Education and the Center of Educational Services.
"The last days of August and the beginning of September are key for the distribution of free textbooks. It is important that this process moves at a pace, that all schools are supplied on time and that students receive their books."
Last year, students from the first to third grade and from the sixth to the seventh grade and children from families in need benefited from free new textbooks.
