Seismologist Ormeni: There is no place for panic, the usual earthquake
Seismologist Rrapo Ormeni spoke immediately to the media after the tremors that shook Albania this Sunday evening.
Ormeni said that there is no place for panic. According to him, the epicenter was in Klos and it was 4.7 on the Richter scale.
An earthquake which has now occurred with an epicenter 25 km northeast of Tirana was felt strongly in Tirana as well. It is an earthquake of 4.7 on the Richter scale and above 6. It is included in common earthquakes that recur every year. The Bulqiza Dibër area is a seismic zone. After this earthquake there were other smaller tremors. It is not an earthquake that causes panic, it does not cause material damage," Ormeni said.
