How SPAK's investigations started and the charges against Vangjush Dako

Vangjush Dako, the mayor for 3 consecutive terms (from 2007 to 2019) of the Municipality of Durrës, is accused today by SPAK of abuse of office.
But what are the accusations that burden the mayor of Durrës?
SPAK sources have revealed to the media that everything started after the lawsuit filed by the residents of Palace No. 8, in Ward 5 in Durrës, against SPAK in September 2020.
The palace was severely damaged by the earthquake of November 26, 2019, when Dako had just finished his third term and Valbona Sako was in charge of the Municipality.
15 residents of the building accused Dako that the reason for the serious damage suffered by their apartments was the addition of 4 floors by the builder of the building.
The permit was granted by Dako in September 2011.
After the investigations started by SPAK, violations were found on the part of the former mayor Vangjush Dako and some of the former officials of the Department of Urban Planning, who are accused of abuse of office and falsification of documents.
The builder of the palace, Fiqiri Farruku, has also been taken into custody.
Vangjush Dako, meanwhile, according to sources cited by the media, is also accused of abuse of office in a tender that has caused the state a loss of 18 million ALL.
