How will the hands of the clock go this Sunday?

October is coming to an end: as every year, the last weekend of the month brings with it a time change: on the night between Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October, at 3 am, the hands will turn 60 minutes behind, positioning themselves at 2 o'clock Winter time will remain in effect until the last weekend of March.

The clock change in Europe was established as a European law in 1981. The movement of the hands in Western Europe was established in the early 70s with the explanation that this "longens" the day, increases productivity, improves people's skills and the working day becomes more efficient.

In 2018, there were discussions about not changing the time by the European Parliament, where it was left to the governments of the respective countries to decide which time they will keep.
