Albania is officially the country of honor of the global tourism fair

From the German capital, where the second day of this fair is taking place, the Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro and the CEO of "Messe Berlin", Mario Tobias, officially signed the agreement that makes Albania "Host Country 2025".

With the signing of this agreement, the Ministry of Tourism and Environment launches a one-year promotion program that ends next March, which returns our country to the epicenter and theme of the most important world event of tourism and tour operators held every year in Berlin.
Kumbaro expressed her happiness that the German organizers invited Albania to be the country of honor for ITB Berlin, while Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin and Deborah Rothe, CEO of ITB Berlin appreciated Albania's appearance at the fair with a diverse program.

In this year's edition, Albania participates with a new concept of promotion, with a team of 26 tour operators and 7 tourist municipalities that comprehensively present under the slogan "Albania All Senses" the potentials, attractions and the Albanian tourism market.

During this edition of ITB-Berlin, another important agreement was signed for Albania. Yesterday, Minister Mirela Kumbaro and the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili signed the agreement to organize the 70th meeting of the Commission for Europe of the UNWTO in Tirana, on April 7-9.

UNWTO ranked Albania first in Europe for the recovery of tourist flows during 2023, while during the first two months of 2024 our country was visited by 1 million foreign visitors, according to data published by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.
