Rudolf Nikolla / The court imposes the measure "arrest in prison" for the person who injured 5 believers in the Mosque
The court accepted the request of the Prosecution, imposing the measure "prison arrest" for Rudolf Nikolla, who stabbed 5 people in a mosque in the capital.
The decision was made judging that Nikola is a dangerous and unstable person and until the end of the investigation he will stay behind bars.
According to his family and acquaintances, he was suffering from psychological and mental problems and was hospitalized, and this was the argument of the defense that he requested health treatment and not imprisonment for the defendant.
Nikola himself pleaded guilty before the trial panel, but claimed that he committed the act "because he had been persecuted for a year" , another indication that he suffers from mental problems, as he admitted that in the last days before the event he did not took the medication prescribed by the doctors.
