Albania was hit yesterday by the storm "Ciaran". As a result of heavy rain and strong wind, there were some problems in different cities.
In the district of Dibra, there continue to be problems in crossing Arbri Road. The level of the asphalt has decreased, while it is reported about a residence damaged by the rain. There are problems with deep units, such as Lura, Kalaja e Doda, where there have been rock slides. The strong wind toppled trees and as a result poles were damaged, cutting off electricity in some areas.
In the village "Fshat", there were cracks in the asphalt.
Today, the rains continued in the district of Gjirokastra. The problem was mainly in Përmet, where 23 tourists were trapped in the Langarica Canyon, but were evacuated a few hours later without injuries.
Bad weather has also affected Korça, but so far no floods have been caused.
Currently the situation is under control.
There were landslides in the Kukës district, on the national axes. The problematic axes remain Kukës-Shishtavec, Kukës-Peshkopi, Bajram Curri-Qafë Mali and Qafë Mali-Kukës.
