Muhamet Rrumbullak's new rule: Police appointments will be made by the

Muhamet Rrumbullaku, the new director of the State Police, presented the first decision to the police structures.

Appointments in the local or central framework will no longer be made by the Director of Police, but by the Assessment Councils that will be established.

The Councils for the Evaluation of Proposals for Appointment, at the central and local level, will be autonomous structures and police departments.

This order changes the decision-making process of the General Director, for the management of human resources of the State Police.

The order is based on the law "On the State Police" and the State Police Regulation and aims to put an end to the current practices followed by the human resources and decision-making structures of the General Director of the State Police.

Now this decision-making will go through the Councils for the Evaluation of Proposals for Appointment, which, after evaluating the candidacies, will propose to the General Director of the State Police, the appointment or transfer to duty of the Police employee.
