Rama and Varheyli tell what happened at the Summit: Recognize the digital green card to move freely in the EU
Prime Minister Edi Rama and Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varheyli after the Summit of the Western Balkans Leaders that took place in Tirana came out in a joint press conference, where they explained what was discussed at the Summit.
Rama said that the Balkan countries will request from the European Union that the digital green card of the citizen be recognized in all European countries in order to move freely.
"As you know within the region, but two days ago also with Hungary bilaterally we agreed on free movement in the post-pandemic period without extra obligations, tests and other stories. Today all countries have submitted to the EC and the EU the request that the digital green card of the citizen of a country of our region, in our aspect in terms of health security be recognized throughout the EU and we also move freely in the EU ", said Rama.
