The government has published new details about the agreement signed with Italy for illegal refugees.
Details on the agreement with Italy:
According to Article 3, Italy uses the area of the Albanian territory for the establishment of host structures.
Article 4 guarantees: Italy will build, entirely at its own expense, structures for the accommodation of migrants.
Article 4 guarantees the maximum limit, no more than 3000 people sheltered at the same time.
According to Article 6, Italy bears any expenses for the sheltered migrants, including: any health care costs, any other anticipated costs that may accrue to the Albanian side,
Article 9 guarantees: The maximum period of stay of an immigrant cannot be greater than the time needed for asylum/protection procedures.
At the end of the proceedings, the Italian side carried out, at its own expense, the departure of the migrants from Albania.
