The shortened trial for the former judge of Kruja is accepted
The Special Court has accepted the shortened trial for the former judge of Kruja, Enkelejda Hoxha, who is in prison on charges of corruption.
The judge is accused of releasing several people sentenced to life imprisonment after taking bribes.
Arguing that there is no one to take care of her children, Enkelejda Hoxha asked to be released, but the GJKKO rejected the request.
By accepting the "Shortened Trial", it means that the court will take the decision with only the evidence provided so far and will not go further and Enkeleda Hoxha benefits from the reduction of 1/3 of the final sentence.
