Albanian politics and dignitaries of the country pay homage to the Liberation Day

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Albania from Italian and German fascist forces, tributes were held today at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Tirana.
Present during the tributes at the Martyrs Cemetery were Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, President Bajram Begam, Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu, prominent personalities as well as many citizens.
Earlier today, Mayor Veliaj congratulated all Albanians on this special day through a post on social networks. "Glory to the martyrs of the homeland! Happy November 29, the 80th anniversary of Liberation", he writes.
