African dust covers Albania, temperatures up to 26 degrees are expected

Albania is covered today by a cloud of dust, caused by a natural phenomenon displaced from North Africa. This phenomenon will continue the next day, while according to experts the temperature is expected to increase by over 20 degrees until Thursday.
"Our country is under the influence of warm masses originating from the north of Africa and bringing with them the dust of the Sahara. It is a phenomenon that our country has been affected several times. It is almost the whole Mediterranean affected, excluding the Iberian peninsula, the rest central Europe, goes as far as the Netherlands, Romania, the surface that is affected.
The concentration of dust particles in the air today has been higher and this has made it worrying for citizens as it is harmful to the respiratory tract, it brings problems in terms of horizontal and vertical vision, both for road and air transport. . It is the entire western part of the country affected with the highest concentration of dust particles. These air masses bring high temperatures, today we had a sudden rise. This wave will accompany us the next day as well. On Friday, the air will also be cleaned", says the specialist of the Military Meteorological Service, Anira Gjoni.
