The parade of Albanians will be held for the first time in Tirana on November 28

For the first time, the "Parade of Albanians" comes to the Albanian capital. The activity will take place on November 28 in cooperation with "Albanian Roots". While delivering this news, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, invites everyone to join the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard.
"This November 28, we, the Albanians, celebrate the 111th anniversary of the Independence of Albania. It is one of those days when the windows of our houses are reddened by the red and black flags, when the heart of every Albanian beats the same, and each of us wants to say it out loud: "Oh, how good it is to be Albanian"! And what could be better than celebrating Flag Day together, here, in Tirana! Therefore, this year, we thought of organizing something very special, that we will remember for a long time. In the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, in the heart of the capital of the Albanians, comes the "Parade of Albanians" - an unforgettable celebration for Independence Day, full of colors and joy, with the participation of Albanians from all the Albanian-speaking cities of the region , to gather together in a parade dedicated to our history, heritage and culture", says Veliaj, among others, in the message posted on social networks.
Then, he expresses his happiness that this extraordinary parade will be held in Tirana, which has been transformed in recent years.
"Tirana will welcome with open arms, with song and dance, every Albanian who wants to join us in our big celebration. But, I also have a thank you for "Albanian Roots", which after 15 years of organization in New York, returned the Parade to where its roots are, in our Albania, in the capital of the Albanians! I can't wait to meet you all in Tirana on November 28", concluded Veliaj.
