OSHEE buys 7.4 million euros of electricity, but still does not meet the required amount
The Electricity Distribution Operator has held today another auction for energy supply for the period 14 - 17 October.
The auction provided the amount of 4,128 MWh, with an average price of 264.50 Euro / MWh, failing to meet the energy needs, reports OSHEE.
Yesterday was provided 24,920 MWh with an average price of 258.47 Euro / MWh from two auctions conducted online.
In total today and yesterday were bought about 7.4 million euros of energy in total.
OSHEE says that despite the non-fulfillment of the required quantities, as a result of high prices it has been forced to disqualify some of the bids that reached up to 590MWh.
Following the auctions, dated 11.10.2021, "Free Market Supplier" JSC, part of the company OSHEE Group, held today, on 12.10.2021, the auction for the provision of band and peak profiles, for the period 14 - 17 October in the amount of 15,584 MËh.
The auction took place in 3 phases (schedules 11: 00-12: 00-13: 00), through the online IT platform. It was attended by 8 companies.
The amount of energy required was partially provided, specifically the amount of 4,128 MWh was provided, with an average price of 264.50 Euro / MWh.
So, following the 3 auctions held yesterday and today, it was managed to provide a total of 29,048 MWh out of 44,400 MWh required for the period 13 - 17 October, with an average price of 259.32 Euro / MWh. Despite the non-fulfillment of the required quantities, "Free Market Supplier" JSC. was forced to disqualify some of the bids due to very high prices, which amounted to 590 Euro / MWh.
