Today's plenary session, where the 2025 budget will be discussed, has started with tension.
Prime Minister Edi Rama started to speak first. While Rama was talking about the end-of-year bonuses for pensioners, the opposition MPs stood up and hit the tables in protest.
Guard employees approached the pulpit and a 5-minute break was announced. The session will continue and will be a marathon for two days.
