From next year, car insurance rates will not be the same for everyone
From next year, compulsory car insurance prices will not be the same for everyone. The new charges will be differentiated, based on a list of factors that affect the risk of causing damage by drivers.
The new rules have been set by the Financial Supervisory Authority as part of a project discussed several years ago, but insurance companies were not ready to implement it.
The year of manufacture of the vehicle, the motor power, the county where the car is registered, the type of car (electric or with fuel), the age of the owner of the vehicle, experience behind the wheel and the history of accidents will be recorded in the system that determines the annual price.
Also, the behavior on the road will affect the price, where those who have had an accident will pay more.
