Change the rules of benefiting from the scholarship for priority branches

The government has changed the method of financing for graduates who will choose to study in one of the branches considered a national priority. If in order to benefit from the scholarship, the minimum salary is enough to enter the high school, to keep it full in the following years, students must reach an average above eight.
When it goes down from 6.5 to eight students benefit only 60% of the value of the scholarship and if the grade is up to 6.5% the financial support is reduced to 30%. This is what the decision published in the official notebook provides.
The government's decision does not affect students who are currently studying in one of the priority branches and enters into force in the new academic year.
The fields of study that are prioritized by the government defined in this decision are teaching, natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, agriculture, forestry, fishing, production and construction engineering, but the specific programs in higher education institutions and the number of beneficiary students will be determined by a commission that will be set up by the Ministry of Education according to the needs before the start of the university.
