Flights are suspended for two months at Kukes airport: No passengers
Flights to Kukes International Airport have been suspended for two months. Airport director Altin Progonati has stated that the airlines Air Albania and Helvetica have not scheduled other flights and this interruption according to him has to do with the decrease in the flow of flights or passengers for the winter season.
Flights are expected to resume in February, a month which is expected to double or triple passengers and destinations according to him.
Progonoti says that Kukes airport has been certified since the first day and there is no room for speculation about the certification process or flight operations.
Kukes Airport started flight operations on June 9 this year with two airlines, to Zurich and Istanbul.
