Through a post on social networks, the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, has called on the local government to take the necessary measures to prevent floods or landslides that may be caused as a result of intense rainfall in the districts of Shkodra. Lezha, Kukës, Vlora and Gjirokastra.
"Analyzing the latest models of meteorological maps, it is expected that over our country in the following hours in the counties of Shkodër, Lezhë, Kukës, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, there will be intense rainfall which may bring flooding of streams and small rivers and flooding in urban areas.
The Ministry of Defense and the Civil Defense Agency call on the local government to take the necessary measures to prevent floods or landslides.
