The Ministry of Education and Sports has reacted to the serious incident that happened in Tirana, where a 14-year-old boy was killed after a conflict near the 'Fan Noli' school in the capital.
Through an announcement, the Ministry of Education has requested the law enforcement institutions to fully clarify the event.
Two other teenagers were injured in the conflict.
Reaction of the Ministry of Education and Sports:
We are deeply shocked by the tragic event that happened today on "Qemal Stafa" street, Tirana, where a conflict between three minors led to the loss of life of one of them, a student of "Fan Noli" school.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family of the student who lost his life, while we wish the other student a speedy recovery. At the same time, we ask the law enforcement institutions to carry out the immediate clarification of all the circumstances of this event.
Safety in schools and outside them has been and will remain an absolute priority of cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior, the State Police, the Ministry of Education, the Local Government, the community and the whole society.
The Ministry of Education and Sports has continuously taken, and is implementing, concrete measures to guarantee that the teaching process, in all schools in Albania, is carried out in the safest, regular and standard way possible.
