Microsoft: Problem that caused collapse in IT services fixed
The problem that caused a collapse in technology services such as airlines, banks and railway lines has been fixed.
The news was announced by the head of the cyber security company, George Kurtz, adding that some of the services still remain affected.
"We know what caused the blackout and we have solved the problem. But it may take some time for some systems to continue operating regularly," he said.
This is because some of the systems cannot be adjusted automatically but manually.
The head of cybersecurity company Crowdstrike also apologized for the disruption caused by its software update.
"We are very sorry for the impact we have caused to customers, to travelers, to anyone affected by all of this, including our companies," said George Kurtz.
