Prime Minister Edi Rama and a week ago the news about the increase of the annual bonus up to 150 euros.
"We will give 100 million euros from the state budget to pensioners directly. Pensioners who have pensions up to 20 thousand new lek will receive 150 euros and those with pensions over 20 thousand new lek 100 euros. All this money will be disbursed starting from the second week of December", said Rama during a meeting in Bulqiza.
What are the bonus details?
This year, the year-end bonus will be divided into two categories. All pensioners who have a pension of up to 20,000 lek, i.e. up to 200 euros, will receive three times the bonus until yesterday through a new bonus, 15,000 lek or 150 euros. While pensioners who have a pension greater than 20,000 ALL will receive double the bonuses of previous years through a bonus in the amount of 10,000 ALL or 100 euros.
This distinction between the former and the latter is not made to give less to those who have a higher pension, but to give more to those who have a lower pension. The triple bonus will be benefited this end of the year by more than half a million pensioners, exactly 511,000 of whom, in addition to the elderly, include 65,800 work invalids and 44,600 pension beneficiaries such as mothers or orphaned children.
"Along with the money they will receive before the New Year, they will also receive the exact information about how much they will receive further in the spring. These bonuses are a direct increase in the purchasing power of retirees and are a direct and meaningful signal of economic growth," said Rama.
