Candidates competing for the post of Director General of Police

15 candidates will compete for the position of General Director of the State Police, after the resignation of Muhamet Rrumbullak.

The candidacy of several well-known names such as Shemsi Prençi, who has a long career in the ranks of blue uniforms, also leading the Rapid Intervention Forces.

Also in the race are the director of the Elbasan Police, Ilir Proda, or the head of the Criminal Police Department, Neritan Nallbati, and the head of the Public Security Department, Rebani Jaupi.

The Special Commission will carry out the preliminary evaluation of each candidate, in order to verify the fulfillment of the legal conditions.
