Today, the day hospital was opened within the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
This medical facility is the first in Albania and will provide health services for 65,000 patients with chronic diseases, as well as others who will need therapy and continuous monitoring by doctors.
Minister Koçiu explained that the day hospital will offer services to all patients who need outpatient consultations, which means it is not a service that requires hospitalization beyond 24 hours. There are 60 beds and over 50 doctors who will provide service in this dedicated facility.
