Fredi Beleri was released on bail from prison today. The decision was taken by the Court of Fier.
Beler still had 6 weeks left on his sentence.
Fredi Beleri was elected MEP nominated by New Democracy, Greek, in the European elections of June 9. After being sentenced by the Appeal to 2 years in prison for election corruption, the Central Election Commission stripped Beler of his mandate as mayor of Himarë.
