The security expert shows how Iran is invested in cyber attacks and has an ace

The expert on justice and security issues, Fabian Zhilla, says that the Iranian State itself is behind the cyber attack in Albania, which through specialized military formations attack institutions of special importance to collect intelligence data. According to him, behind the attack in Albania, which has sheltered an Italian opposition community, are organizations supported by the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MIS) of Iran, such as Muddy Water.

"Most likely this is an attack by hackers sponsored by the Iranian state. The typology of Iran-backed attacks is carried out by Revolutionary Guard Hackers. These mainly attack institutions of particular importance to collect intelligence data. Muddy Water has attacked the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Health in Turkey in February 2022. Another group supported by Iran is the one called Phosphorus or APT35. These mainly track certain persons or institutions by stealing their data and eavesdropping. They can use the confidential data for blackmail and fines," says Zhilla.

Based on the fact that even Turkey has suffered such attacks before, Zhilla says that our authorities can contact the Turkish side to learn how such a situation has been managed by them, before we find ourselves facing an even more destructive attack. than this one.
