A new testimony of the cleaner Rozeta Dobi has convinced the Prosecutor's Office to request the arrest of the former state official Alda Klosi, who according to media sources was handcuffed yesterday evening by the Tirana Police.
"I saw a lot of money, I cleaned eight houses. He let me hide them. I often looked at them in the boxes".
This was part of Dobi's testimony, who worked as a cleaner in an apartment rented from Klos, arrested on December 15 of last year for the theft of over 120,000 euros and 30,000 dollars.
Together with the cleaner, her son Javier Dobi was arrested, suspected of having collaborated with his mother in the robbery of the amount of money.
From a second check in the apartment of Rozeta Dobi, who for years worked as a cleaner in the houses of various public figures, another 404 thousand euros were discovered, which is also suspected to be stolen.
So far, it does not appear that there have been any complaints from other people about the disappearance of this money.
Klosi has covered high functions in the administration, such as former director of concessions in the Ministry of Finance, head of the cabinet of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, to then move to the Financial Supervision Authority.
