Brace: November 26, 2019, the only moments of joy, when a life was saved

Erion Braçe has dedicated a status this morning to one of the most tragic events we have experienced, the November 26 earthquake. Like today, five years ago, Albania woke up shocked and saddened. 51 people's lives, among them many children, died in their sleep. As Brace also writes, the only moments of joy were those when someone still breathed came out of the ruins.

#THUMANE💔, SAY THIS HOUR!
THE ONLY MOMENTS OF JOY WHEN A LIFE WAS SAVED, I PULLED A MAN ALIVE FROM THE RUINS;
WE WERE LUCKY!
But I will never forget the people who, after every hour they spent with the hope that someone else would come out alive from their family, fell into the despair of the grandfather-grandmother, father-mother, husband-wife, son-daughter, without life!
In #THUMANE I realized that there is another power;
To look the other in the eyes down there in the ruins, you reach out, touch him, ask him for a cigarette, give it to him and not be able to save him, just stay with him when he dies there;
I DON'T WISH KERKUJ TO BE STRONG AND THERE AMONG PEOPLE TO EXPERIENCE THIS, THE POWERLESS TO SAVE THAT LIFE!
