The 3 candidates who continue the race for the head of SPAK
The High Prosecution Council has verified the three candidacies for the new head of SPAK. In the KLPS announcement, it is stated that all three candidates, Edvin Kondili, Adnan Xholi, Altin Dumani, meet the conditions to enter the race.
Adnan Xholi led the former Serious Crimes Prosecutor's Office for 7 months in 2015. After that, Xholi returned to the General Prosecutor's Office where he continued to stay until July of this year when he joined SPAK.
In front of him is the prosecutor Edvin Kondili, who started his career at the former Prosecutor's Office for Serious Crimes in 2004 and followed it to the Special Prosecutor's Office, where he currently holds the position of head of the corruption section.
Altin Dumani, currently deputy head of the Special Structure, prosecutor in the organized crime section, started his duties in 1999 as a Judicial Police Officer. He held the position as deputy head of the former Prosecutor's Office for Serious Crimes and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.
The head of SPAK is appointed by a majority of votes from the High Prosecution Council, among the prosecutors of the Special Prosecution.
