What happens to the body if you do not drink coffee in the morning

For many people coffee is a part of their daily routine, especially in the morning. There are those who can not start the day or wake up if they have not drunk coffee. Those who have made morning coffee routine, if they do not consume it may feel tired and with headaches during the day.

This is because caffeine causes some natural changes in the body, from which we become addicted. Caffeine enters the bloodstream and begins to "travel" to the brain where it blocks an inhibitory neurotransmitter called adenosine. The time it takes to reduce the amount of caffeine in our body by 50% is about five hours on average.

This explains why we might want another coffee in a few hours. However, how quickly caffeine leaves our system depends on many things. Age, medical conditions, drug interactions and habits, such as smoking, all affect the speed at which caffeine is removed from our body.

Therefore, it is not surprising that when we skip coffee in the morning, we suffer from the changes that the body experiences. According to one study, in addition to the fact that you will not activate your metabolism, you will feel tired, sluggish, dizzy and physically weak.
