Ali Ahmeti is called as a witness in The Hague as the founder of the KLA

DUI leader in Macedonia Ali Ahmeti has been invited by the Hague Special Prosecution to testify as one of the founders of the KLA and a member of the General Staff. He announced the news himself in a post on social networks where he writes that he was invited to the position of witness for the activities during the war. He does not further indicate whether his testimony relates to the indictment against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who was interviewed for 4 days in The Hague. But he states: "I have always been a supporter of non-selective justice and I am fully available to the judiciary to prove the sincerity of the liberation war of the Albanian people in the face of the genocide of the Serbian regime of Milosevic."

Ali Ahmeti writes on Facebook:

Dear citizens,

the rule of law and the attainment of genuine non-selective justice, local and international, are my permanent goal and obligation throughout my activity.

Therefore, I inform you that the Specialized Chambers of the Republic of Kosovo, namely the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, as one of the founders of the KLA and a member of the General Staff, has invited me as a witness and without hesitation I accepted the invitation and made contact constructive and cooperative with officials in The Hague.

I have always been a supporter of non-selective justice and I am at the full disposal of the judiciary to prove the sincerity of the liberation struggle of the Albanian people in the face of the genocide of the Serbian regime of Milosevic.
