Former SMI MP who left to join the Socialists

Former SMI MP Ediola Braha has left the SMI party to join the SP. Ediola Braha is the former MP for Tepelena which is not the first, but probably not the last among the wave of departures from the SMI who decide to go and join the opposition party.

The news about her departure from the SMI was given by the Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi. From Facebook, where he posted photos from the meeting, Çuçi writes that there is no longer any doubt that the party that the opposition leader has called the "Venice Merchant KPS", is heading towards total collapse and on April 25 will take the final blow.

From 2011 to 2019, Braha was the president of the SMI in Tepelena, as well as the director of the city hospital. She completed her studies in English at the University of Gjirokastra and then in Business Management at Kristal University, studies that lasted 7 years from 2003 to 2010.

Departures from the SP recently and before the April 25 election campaign have not been few. Most commented are former ministers: Environment Minister Lefter Koka, and former Justice Minister Nasip Naço, former MP Gledian Rehovica and other former directors or local officials.
