The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has posted a video on the social network Twitter where he portrays a teacher in Bosnia who is happy because she receives 1100 euros salary and an Albanian colleague who receives only 600 euros and consequently is dissatisfied.
The video concludes with the PD on Friday to increase teachers' salaries to bring it to the same level as the countries of the region.
Text of the video posted by Basha:
Teacher Tatiana is happy with her job.
Because she is from Bosnia,
Where a high school teacher receives 1100 Euros.
Teacher Fatmira is not at all happy with the salary she receives.
Because in Albania teachers are paid about 600 Euros per month.
The lowest salary in the region.
Happy teacher = happy student.
Rama did nothing for teachers or students.
We can change that!
To elect a new government that will increase salaries.
Because it is our duty to bring back the lost smile
our teachers and students.
Choose a prime minister who works for you!
Teachers' day can and should be much happier for them.
