Anti-Covid vaccine is being stored by IPH and Police, epidemiologist: 30 thousand doses by February
Today is the third day of the anti-coronavirus vaccination process in Albania. The first doses have arrived, about 1000 while it has not yet been made public from which country. Prime Minister Rama said that he hopes to one day say and thank him.
But where are the vaccines stored?
Epidemiologist Dritan Ulqinaku has shown that vaccines are stored by the Institute of Public Health and the police. Doctors at anti-Covid hospitals are the first to be vaccinated, followed by nationwide doctors and field epidemiologists. Ulqinaku said that in the third week of January, 10 thousand doses will arrive, while in February, another 20 thousand doses will arrive.

"These vaccines are stored by the Institute of Public Health and the Police. Working with viruses requires dry ice and is stored there to be transported. Those who are being vaccinated are medical staff, even outside Tirana, as in Kruja, Durres and Vlora. First the doctors in the front line, then the field epidemiologists and then the others will follow. In the third week of January will come another 10 thousand, while in February 20 thousand doses other than 1 thousand doses that are not enough. The vaccine will take at least two weeks for the reaction, which means you have to keep wearing the mask.
